Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and improving websites and web applications to meet the needs of our users and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and responsive web solutions. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development depending on the requirements, and your work will play a crucial role in delivering seamless, user-friendly web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Build and maintain functional, user-friendly, and responsive websites and web applications using front-end and back-end technologies.
• Front-End Development: Develop engaging and responsive user interfaces with technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Back-End Development: Work with back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.) to manage server-side logic, databases, and application functionality.
• API Integration: Integrate external services and APIs (RESTful APIs, payment gateways, etc.) to enhance website functionality and create dynamic web applications.
• Database Management: Design and maintain databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL), write optimized queries, and ensure the integrity and security of data.
• Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure websites and applications are compatible across different browsers, devices, and platforms.
• SEO Best Practices: Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine ranking.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and user experience, ensuring they load quickly and run smoothly.
• Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab) to manage code repositories and collaborate with the team.
• Testing and Debugging: Write and maintain tests, identify bugs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the overall functionality and security of websites and applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the web solution meets functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure that our web solutions are innovative and efficient.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications and websites.
• Front-End Technologies: Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for building interactive user interfaces.
• Back-End Technologies: Strong understanding of back-end programming languages such as PHP, Node.js, Ruby, or Python, and experience working with server-side technologies.
• Database Knowledge: Proficiency in relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational (MongoDB) databases, with experience in writing optimized SQL queries.
• Responsive Design: Experience building websites that work across different devices, screen sizes, and browsers (mobile-first development).
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and GitHub (or other version control systems) to manage code changes and collaborate with team members.
• API Integration: Experience in integrating third-party APIs, RESTful services, and web services into applications.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to implement on-page SEO to improve website rankings.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ability to ensure that web applications are compatible with different browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer.
• Testing: Familiarity with front-end testing libraries (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Jasmine) and back-end testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit, Mocha).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues in the web development process.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Content Management Systems (CMS): Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Frameworks & Libraries: Familiarity with frameworks like Laravel (PHP), Django (Python), or Express (Node.js).
• Cloud Hosting: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for hosting and deploying web applications.
• DevOps: Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
• UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to work closely with designers to implement designs in code.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
