Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework. Ensure that applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• API Development & Integration: Build and consume RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services and internal APIs to extend application functionality.
• Database Management: Design and manage relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and write optimized SQL queries for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Implement Security & Best Practices: Ensure the security and integrity of web applications by following Laravel’s best practices and adhering to security guidelines (e.g., input validation, password hashing).
• Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, and provide mentorship to junior developers as needed.
• Testing & Debugging: Write and maintain unit and integration tests, debug issues, and ensure high-quality code by adhering to best testing practices.
• Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, maintaining clean, well-organized branches and code repositories.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: 1+ years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel framework.
• Framework Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Laravel and its ecosystem (e.g., Eloquent ORM, Blade templating engine, Artisan commands).
• Backend Technologies: Proficiency in backend technologies such as PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and experience with MVC architecture.
• API Integration & Development: Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services and systems.
• Version Control: Proficient in Git for source control and comfortable with Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests).
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on creating efficient, reusable code.
• Security Knowledge: Understanding of web application security principles, including CSRF, XSS, SQL injection prevention, and best practices for secure coding.
• Testing: Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit and test-driven development (TDD).
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Nice to Have:

• Front-End Skills: Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for hosting and scaling applications.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Docker: Experience using Docker for containerization and local development environments.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 1+ years of experience in web development, specifically with PHP and Laravel.
